5 Love Languages - How to understand each other

Are you constantly fighting with your partner and have the feeling that he or she just do not understand what you want from them? Or another thing is that you might not feel the affection or love from the other person that you would like.
You might just be speaking a different love language than your partner, who does not fully understand you, or vice versa.

The principle is, that there are five languages that we, as humans use. Every person needs a different way of affection and has a different type of understanding. Therefore we should learn, for our own sake, how to speak your partner´s love languages. Believe me, that it will do miracles with your relationship!
Below here you can see a table of all of the languages and some little ways you can remind your partner just how loved he or she is, based on their primary love language. It will help you with what to do, what to say and what to avoid.
At one point we thought our relationship would truly fall apart and we would have to go separate ways, but then we started talking to each other. Easy right?
Previously i was not able to tell him what bothered me or what i had lack of and how he could fix it and he rather did not talk at all in a fear of another fight.
It is not just about living next to each other, but make each other's life fulfilled and happy.
If you feel like you need some more of together time or some more affirmations ... tell them. Not in a mean way "Why don´t you ever do this .... " but rather "I would really love/appreciate if you could ..., that would make me happy/feel good" Troubles of the relationship are never only on one side. In the majority of the cases, there are mistakes from both of them. The most important thing is to be willing to work on it, try new things and be open to a personal change.

Oh man, I could talk about this topic for HOURS! I love the 5 love languages! My husband is an act of service kind of guy - that's how he shows his love, while I need words of affirmations. We struggle with this, but we've been together for long we've been able to overcome our differences. Now I know, how he shows me that he loves me - even if it's not the way I want it. It still counts! :)
